What we collect and why
If you choose to give it, we collect: mobility and walking ability; medical conditions and medicines, including medicines that need refrigeration; allergies; health-related dietary needs; and medical devices such as a CPAP, oxygen or an EpiPen. We use it only to keep you safe and cared for on your retreat: planning walking and seating, arranging meals and rooms, storing medicines and devices, and responding in an emergency.
Where it comes from
From you, or from a parent or guardian for a traveler under 18, on our registration form or in writing to us.
What we share
Any of the categories above, but only what each recipient needs, and only if you consent to sharing.
Who we share it with
Our tour operator in Israel (Sar-El Tours & Conferences) and its guides; hotels and restaurants serving our group; airlines; and doctors, hospitals and emergency services; and, for a traveler under 18 traveling without a parent, the chaperone the parent names. We also use service providers that store data for us under contract. We never sell health data.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold your health data; to see it; for a list of everyone we shared it with, with a way to contact them; to withdraw your consent; and to delete it. Write to privacy@philipshouse.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we may take up to 45 more days. Requests are free.
How long we keep it
We delete your health information within 30 days after your retreat ends, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Deleted information is removed from our backups within 7 days after that.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will answer within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
