DAY 3 - Nazareth Village

February 23 - Monday

Experience Nazareth Village and Local Ministry

Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Surprising friendships between Arabs and Jews are just one good thing you will discover in the boyhood home of Jesus.

  • Check-out of your hotel and head North.

  • On your way, stop at the ruins Caesarea Maritima, the home of Cornelius, the house of Philip, and the prison of Paul.

  • Drive Through Mount Carmel, where Elijah called down fire from heaven, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and Armageddon.

  • Enter the Fortress of Megiddo, with layers of history from the Egyptians to Solomon. Explore the city gates, stables, and well-preserved water systems. Reflect on the ultimate victory of Christ in the Valley of Armageddon.

  • Tour the old city of Nazareth with Pastor Saleem Salash. See the home of Mary's mother, the carpenter shop and ritual bath of Joseph, and the synagogue described in Luke 4. Step into Elbabour Spice shop to enjoy fresh hummus, pita, and unforgettable aromas.

  • Experience Nazareth Village, an open-air museum that reconstructs and reenacts village life in the Galilee in the time of Jesus.
