This is not a tour. It's a retreat in the Promised Land.
Pay in full today for $6,490, or put $100 down and split the rest into easy monthly payments.
Philip's House takes your congregation to the land where Jesus walked, taught, healed, and rose, and gives you space to actually encounter Him there. Beautiful hotels, an expert guide who values encounter over education, and sacred sites that make your Bible come alive. For Evergreen, this retreat restores the Jerusalem you were promised and finishes on the coast with friends.
HIKE like a disciple. Climb Mount Arbel above the lake. Wade Hezekiah's Tunnel in the dark. Walk the Pilgrimage Road up toward the Temple. Your body remembers what your eyes have seen.
PAUSE where it actually happened. Communion at the Garden Tomb. A quiet Shabbat evening on the shore of Galilee. A private garden at Gethsemane. Five minutes for an encounter with Jesus.
MAKE Israeli friends. Plant a tree at Kibbutz Snir. Share a table with Eyal Dror. Keep Shabbat with the Beit Hallel congregation. See more than the holy land, meet the holy people.
Real reviews from real travelers who have walked these same roads with Philip's House.
"This was definitely the trip of a lifetime. The accommodations, the food, the tours were top of the line. Our guide was historically and biblically knowledgeable and funny. We're going again in 2027!"
"Of all my trips to Israel this was the best by far. Professional, kind, and knowledgeable from guide to photographer."
"A profound and enriching experience… memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of Israel, its people, and its faith."
"I cannot put into words how life changing my time in Israel was. Philip's House had all the details planned out so all I had to do was rest in the presence of Jesus. I've changed because of my experience!"
"Philip's House gives you the time to stop, read your Bible, pray and let the Holy Spirit speak. Other tours rush you site to site. Here you soak in the beauty and essence of the land. The Bible came alive and it really is true."
"Philip's House stayed the course with us through every reschedule and cancellation, and guided us through a difficult season until our trip finally happened. I would definitely go with Philip's House again and highly recommend others to do so."
One country, five homes. We begin on the Mediterranean at Netanya, settle for three nights above the Sea of Galilee, sleep one night beside the Dead Sea, spend four nights in Jerusalem, and finish with two nights on the coast at Ashdod. We run north to Dan on the border and south to Masada, with a private motor coach and a believing Israeli guide the whole way.
Click any day to explore what you will see. Open the fifth gospel by exploring the land of the Bible.
Depart Seattle on your international flight to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. Flights are booked through Philip's House, and the whole Evergreen group travels together.
Land at Ben Gurion and be welcomed by your guide and your Philip's House team. Time permitting, we stop in Old Jaffa at the house of Simon the Tanner, where Peter saw the rooftop vision that opened the gospel to the nations (Acts 10). Then up the coast to Netanya for a welcome dinner on the Mediterranean.
Explore Caesarea Maritima, Herod's harbor city, the home of Philip the Evangelist and his four daughters (Acts 21:8), and the place where Peter first opened the door to the Gentiles. Ascend Mount Carmel, where Elijah faced the prophets of Baal, then step into first-century life at Nazareth Village before we drive to the Sea of Galilee.
Begin at Capernaum, the town Jesus made his base, and stand in its ancient synagogue. Read the Sermon on the Mount on the Mount of Beatitudes, then hike down the slope to the Jesus cave. Visit Tabgha, the feeding of the five thousand and the Primacy of Peter, and sail on the Sea of Galilee. Shabbat dinner at the hotel, then open time at the lakeshore for reflection, Scripture, and prayer.
Drive north into the Golan. Walk Tel Dan and stand at Abraham's Gate, then Caesarea Philippi at Banias, where Jesus asked, "Who do you say that I am?" Lunch at Kibbutz Dafna with Lt. Col. Eyal Dror and a briefing on humanitarian aid and the IDF. Then plant a tree at Kibbutz Snir with Oren Dvoskin. For those who came in 2026, this was the day that mattered most. We protected the time.
A short climb on Mount Arbel, with the whole lake opening beneath you. Then Magdala, its first-century synagogue and the home of Mary Magdalene. Descend the Jordan Valley to Qasr el Yahud, the traditional site of the baptism of Jesus, with the opportunity to be baptized. Continue to the Dead Sea and float in the lowest place on earth.
Ride the cable car to the top of Masada. Walk into the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul, with a level path for anyone who wants it. See the caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then ascend to Jerusalem. There is a moment on that road when the city comes into view and the bus goes quiet. We stop at the overlook for our first view and a blessing.
Begin at the Garden Tomb with communion and worship led by Emanuel Roro. Then the Mount of Olives for the view every photograph of Jerusalem is taken from, and down the Palm Sunday road on foot to Gethsemane, where we pray in a private garden. Enter the Old City through the Lions' Gate to St. Anne's Church and the Pool of Bethesda, and finish at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Up early to the Temple Mount, where the Temple stood and Jesus taught, security permitting. Pray at the Western Wall. Sit on the Southern Steps at the Davidson Center, the stairs worshippers climbed into the Temple courts, then walk the Western Wall Tunnels along the Great Stone Route. Finish in the Upper Room.
Most people assume the Old City is the old city. Today you find the real one, beneath what used to be a car park. This is the Jerusalem of David, Hezekiah, and Isaiah. Wade Hezekiah's Tunnel, or take the dry tunnel, to the Pool of Siloam, then walk the Pilgrimage Road up toward the Temple. The afternoon is yours for shopping and exploring.
Check out of Jerusalem and remember at Yad Vashem. If time allows, the Israel Museum, with the Shrine of the Book and the model of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus. Then drive to the coast. In the evening we join the Beit Hallel congregation for their Shabbat service and stay for Shabbat dinner together.
A slow Shabbat by the sea. Enjoy the waterfront, lunch at a restaurant on the water, and an afternoon of conversations on the beach with our friends from Beit Hallel. This is where the 2026 retreat ended. This time we finish it unhurried, in fellowship.
Back to Jerusalem for the Friends of Zion Museum, the story of the non-Jews who stood with Israel. Free time in the city for last shopping and exploring. Then a celebration dinner at Naurah in Abu Ghosh, and the transfer to Ben Gurion for the overnight flight home.
Your overnight flight departs just after midnight and, thanks to the time zones, you arrive home the same day. You now have friends in Israel, a part of you left in the Land, and a Jerusalem you have finally seen with your own eyes.
Return group airfare from Seattle. The whole Evergreen group flies together, with no airport taxi fees.
