DAY 6 - Up With Jesus to Jerusalem!

February 25 - Thursday

Today you ascend to Jerusalem! Your trip to Jerusalem is called an 'aliyah' or ascent upward because Jerusalem is 2,474 feet above Sea Level. Factor in the depth of the Dead Sea at 1,300 feet below Sea Level and Jerusalem stands 3,774 feet above the lowest point of the land. The Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120-134) were written to be sung on your way up.

  • Check out of your hotel and head south towards Jerusalem.

  • Ascend Mount Gerizim like a biblical disciple on an active hike through its sacred slopes, encountering God's blessings at the ancient Samaritan temple ruins and panoramic views over Nablus, forging connections to Israel's faith-filled heritage that inspire huge influence back home.

  • See Tel Shiloh or Ancient Shiloh Israel’s religious heart before Jerusalem. The Tabernacle stood here for 369 years. With engaging technology, you can almost see Samuel and David walking by and smell the incense burning on the altar.

  • Check in to David Dead Sea Resort & Spa.

  • Enjoy floating in the bouyant waters of the Dead Sea. It's fun!
